Griffin & Howe announces new CEO
Andover, New Jersey – September, 26 2017
Guy Bignell, current President of Griffin & Howe stepped down as CEO, Effective June 1, 2017. Assuming his post and responsibilities is Mr. Steve Polanish, a long-time member of the Griffin & Howe management team and current COO. “Steve has worked closely with me since 1999 and during that time he has developed the unique qualifications that will enable him to take the reins of Griffin & Howe as the company moves forward, allowing me to take on a different role with the company as we approach our centennial year in just five years time,” said Bignell.
Bignell continued, “Since coming to Griffin & Howe in 1999 as general manager of Hudson Farm, the headquarters for Griffin & Howe, Steve has demonstrated that he is the perfect man for the job as he assumes the responsibilities of CEO.”
“As we move towards our centennial year, there are many enhancements to the Griffin & Howe brand and its product offering that will help our customers, both old and new, have a better shooting and hunting experience through their connection with Griffin & Howe,” Bignell said.
Steve Polanish, the new President and CEO, offered the following; “Looking forward at Griffin & Howe, we’re anticipating expansions in the rifle school offering and range, our shotgun instruction program, including a ladies program, and product offerings from Griffin & Howe. In addition we’ll be announcing an expansion of our custom shop offering. We are also launching a new logo and tagline that we feel will speak better to the legacy and tradition of fine firearms and shooting that is Griffin & Howe.”
